Resignation of Acting Chairman of Zephyros Village 2 Residents Association

I have today 13/5/2010 decided to resign from my position on the ZV2RA, with immediate effect.

I have received several complaints from residents about the excessive noise made by barking dogs, and as a committee member was trying to resolve the problem. Yesterday I received, in front of my wife and neighbours, verbal abuse from a resident which I am not prepared to accept and therefore I am tendering my resignation.

I would like to thank all the people who nominated me for the committee and apologise to them for resigning, but I will no longer continue to give up my retirement time to protect the interests of people such as the above mentioned resident.

To all other persons who know me, enjoy your retirement as I intend to do.

Proposed change of the property management company from Artha Estates to PFA for Zephyros Village 2

A letter from John was sent out to 73 homeowners by e-mail and about 15 to those homeowners not on line asking for approval of the above mentioned change. To date Sandra has received 64 replies confirming approval and 4 against or chose not to give a definite answer.I am therefore pleased to say that as we now have approvals from the majority of home owners, the Committee intend to ask PFA to take over as the property management company for Zephyros 2, and to give Artha Estates notice of our intention to terminate their contract with us.

I am sure that PFA is far more professional in all aspects of property management than Artha, and we will all benefit from this change.

The Committee is still pursuing Aristo for a reasonable refund over the communal electricity used for the period Jun-Dec 2008 and this change will make no difference to our actions.

Attached to this post is the letter that has been sent to all residents of Zephyros Village 2 regarding the proposed change of management company from Aristo to PFA.

2nd March 2010 – Residents Letter RE: Change of Aristo to PFA

Please read this notice and get in touch with Sandra asap with your views/responses. The proposal will need a 51% agreement with residents before it can be taken into action.
